Legal & Finance Committee

The role of the Legal & Finance Committee is:

• to monitor developments in Canadian securities affecting AIMA members generally and to disseminate to the AIMA members information regarding important changes.
• to endeavour to comment on proposed changes where requested by regulators, to act as a resource for regulators and AIMA members on matters of regulation, to advocate on behalf of AIMA members on issues of common interest, and to work with the other Committees on matters involving legal and regulatory issues.
